Protect our local hedgehogs

Hedgehogs are classified as vulnerable to extinction and have sadly disappeared across many parts of the Borough. We are calling on Merton Council to protect our remaining local hedgehogs, so this much-loved species can thrive in the future. We the undersigned call on Merton Council to protect our remaining local hedgehogs by erecting warning signs at key road crossing points; managing green spaces to protect & enhance their habitat; installing wildlife cameras to observe sites and working with the Peoples Trust for Endangered Species in developing this strategy.
